ABOUT JASON

By the time Jason Jones was three years old, it was evident his heart and talent was in home design.  He would layout house plans with building blocks that took up the entire floor space in the family den.

Growing up Colorado with a father who built homes, he loved going to construction sites, playing and dreaming up floor plans of other homes.  When clients would come to the office to look at their plans, that his Dad had drawn up, Jason would climb up in the chair and lean over the table and point out every room, closet, pantry, etc. in the plan.  He also had fun helping his Dad build his two-story play house and effectively "design" the interiors.

As he grew, he and his Mom would not just clean his room, but would have fun displaying his toys and fun objects on his shelves from floor to ceiling.  It wasn't many years later that he was designing his own bedroom in the family's new home, from colors to window dressing, bedding and displays.

Always being interested in viewing homes of all sizes, styles and ages, it was no surprise when he studied design and architecture in college.

He had been a goal setter his entire life, and while working his way through college at a bank, he showed his parents the highrise building close by.  He told them that he was going to live there someday . . . and he did.  He also spoke of a very well-known designer that lived in the penthouse and how he wanted to work for him someday . . . and he did.

Tom Chandler taught and trained Jason about the business of everything from how to work with clients, listen to their conversations well enough to know their needs and personalities, likes and wants and after learning all these aspects, help guide them and find products and furnishings that make their homes a palette of their personalities.  He also taught him the most important lesson that results in success . . . if you respect their needs you develop a true friendship that lasts a lifetime.

From the excellent learning and guidance from Tom, Jason has gone to experience many jobs and learning from professionals along his path to a successful business and profession of his own.  Some of his wonderful clients have lead him to opportunities and projects in the Turks and Cacoes, California, Montana, Colorado, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Maine, Hawaii, Florida, Louisianna, his beloved France and of course all over Texas.

Wanting to keep each job to fit the personality of his clients, he keeps each project fresh and searches out furnishings that work for them.  And his mind is always up for new adventures like designing planes, trains and sailboats.  He enjoys all aspects of helping clients as their family grows from nurseries, to college dorms, and onto first apartments & homes for their children.

Jason's favorite part of helping families is being able to work closely with the building team which includes the client, architect, builder, art consultant, lighting designer, landscape artist, and organizational team.  Each one of these members play a crucial role in the development and creation of a well-planned home that works for the family.

Jason loves his family, his home, working with his hands, creating beauty, comfort and helping others.  It's only natural, he wants to make the surroundings of each home a happy place for all of his clients.
